Eels Lake and Eels Creek are the most locally branded water experience, anchored by High Falls on Eels — an established hiking and paddling destination. The nearby Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park offers six recommended canoe routes with small-vessel launches at Anstruther, Wolf, Loon Call, Cold and Long Lakes.

Packages can include guided canoe trips, kayak excursions, family paddling days, sunset paddles, and picnic-and-paddle outings, with transportation to launch points. For larger recreational boating, guests can be transported toward the Trent–Severn Waterway, Stoney Lake, and Buckhorn/Pigeon Lake — part of a region with more than 250 lakes and rivers.
